ACTS OF CARING AND COMPASSION

NORTH COUNTY, San Diego ---- Thanksgiving was a memorable one as The Mama Cares Foundation teamed up with The Center to feed over 200 families in North County San Diego. Families received a turkey and all the fixing's for a Thanksgiving dinner, plus some much need attention and compassion. Baskets also went to Big Brother, Big Sisters of San Diego and a Salvation Army Senior Citizens home. Smiles and tears were thanks enough for Mama's act of caring. Thank you to all of those who donated their time and food to feed 150 more families from last year.

INDONESIA --- The compassionate hands of the Mama Cares Foundation reach far! Mama Cares has been sending missionaries to various parts of Indonesia to build relationships and spread much needed compassion. The tsunami tragedy of late 2004, brought to light a new understanding that the people of Indonesia have been in need of our help all of there lives. The Mama Cares Foundation, organized a group of missionaries to assess the need and then act!

We adopted an orphanage in need of TLC and repair. New lights, new paint, and new furniture are just a few of the ways the Mama Cares Foundation acted.

We worked with local business by offering micro loans to grow and expand its many offerings.
